"Hello! Here I am!"  Many people register their names and e-mail addresses with Web sites devoted to that purpose and with WhoWhere? and Yahoo!.  This is the place to start looking for your classmates. 

Several County Assessors and Recorders now provide Internet access to their records.  Property ownership records are current because they are posted as deeds are recorded.     

Birth, Marriage, and Death Records are important tools in locating missing classmates.  Enough Birth, Marriage and Death Records are available on the Internet to warrant a look here.

If your missing classmates were on the honor roll, or if you think you know their occupation, you might find them in this group.

Going into business for yourself is becoming more popular.  If you can find someone with the name of your missing classmate here, you will have their business name, and with it, their telephone number. 

A lot more newspapers than you think are providing Internet access to their archives, better known to them as "morgue" files.  Most newspaper accounts, especially obituaries, provide an age for the subject of the article.
